Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe (born in America) is an American country and pop performer. Ashley Monroe was part of a group named Pistol Annies, with Angaleena presley as well as Miranda Lambert in 2007, before releasing her second album, titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe singing with Blake SheltonIn 2015. The singer-songwriter released The Blade, an album that earned her acclaim. Ashley Monroe holds a position as Assistant Village manager for Riverside Illinois. She has fifteen years' experience working in the public sector including nearly five-year time within Iowa City. She is currently the Village Manager's Assistant and has a variety of responsibilities which include managing the Community Development and Building Department as well as overseeing grant applications and other special initiatives. As a part of Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of village services while taking on the strategic plan of elected officials and the community. Ashley has held a variety of responsibilities previously, such as the planning of municipal services and communication for government budgeting, collective bargaining and management of employees and focus on climate change projects. Ashley's involvement in the national organization, as well as her involvement with diverse communities and demographics has allowed her to gain insights into the various differences and similarities in the way different public organizations are run. Ashley's lectures focus on the present approach to management and leadership within public sector organizations, based on her experience as a practitioner. Her focus is on ethical and strategic decision-making adaptation to current issues and opportunities, as well as navigating the inter-governmental and community relations provides context for aspiring and working professionals within public organizations.
