Annet Mahendru

Mahendru a Russian Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. She can speak fluent German Russian English, French Persian as well Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as an Indian father and a Russian mom. At the age of 11, Annet Mahendru choreographed and performed a dance which earned her a German television appearance. The dance was a Russian snow girl who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. She graduated from high school and was awarded a bachelor's degree in English at the University of New York. She studied comedy and improvisation in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her family was brought up within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and a Russian-speaking mother Olga. She was only 13 when her parents split up. Her father moved the family members to East Meadow New York. Her most well-known role is the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She is known for her frequent appearances on The Following on Fox, The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
